The Yass Area Network of Landcare Groups (YAN) was formed in 1996, in response to the need for an integrated approach to address land management and natural resource issues across the Yass Area. The Network incorporates nine Landcare groups, (including three which share a border with the Yass Catchment) with an estimated membership of 400 landholders and community members.
